Big Picture Challenge

I was just doing my daily blog surf and over at Becky Higgins she mentioned her challenge to complete a layout a day through January. Hmmm - brave woman I thought - then - well, I would like to do that too - and I discoved that it comes from this FREE workshop over at Big Picture Scrapbooking. I've just downloaded my challenge and had a quick look through the gallery - there are 19 pages of layouts already! Anyone here up for the challenge? I better get busy and do 2 layouts before I fall too far behind!

But I can't...Maybe...oooooohhh...I am already doing the project 365 and I've set my own personal scrapbooking goals, so I better not. I will however be checking yours. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

This is Me...

....and my little scrappy blog. I'm no super scrappin' high rollin' magazine published superstar.
In fact I've never even had a layout published - but it would probably help if I posted to online galleries and stuff. To be honest I'm not sure I even want to go there. I'm just happy being me.
I've been round & round in circles with this hobby from the simple roots when I was introduced to the hobby at a home party - to trying to keep up with the Jones' (or rather the LSS who are all about what is now).
But you know what, really does it matter what your scrapbook page looks like? That's not what it's about. It's about the photo's & the stories. Ok, and a little bit of playing with paper & scissors is good for the soul.
So, I hope you like what I post here.
I hope you can laugh at me and my half assed ideas.
I really hope you take the time to leave a comment just before you walk away. It's always nice to say goodbye & thank you when you've been visiting. Every single comment on here makes me do a little happy dance...don't believe me? Ask my kids - they see it!
